Medical Coding Trainee

Position Overview:

The Medical Coder (Fresher) will be responsible for converting medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments into standardized codes for billing and record -keeping purposes. This entry -level position is ideal for freshers who are interested in starting a career in the healthcare industry and gaining expertise in medical coding.

ü Ensure accuracy in coding and compliance with healthcare industry standards.

ü Review patient charts and medical records to ensure completeness and correctness of the codes.

Candidates already having work experience in Hospital Field is added advantage

Requirements

Required Skills:

ü Basic knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical terminology.

ü Familiarity with ICD -10 - cm, CPT, and HCPCS Coding Systems 

ü Good communication skills for documenting and reviewing patient information.

ü Ability to work with confidential information and maintain patient privacy.

Preferred Skills:

ü Understanding of Healthcare industry regulations (HIPAA, etc.).

ü Certification in CPC/CIC/CRC/CCS is an added advantage

Qualifications:

Candidates with a degree in Paramedical background
