*Responsibilities:*
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, administer medications, and manage life -support systems such as ventilators, hemodynamic monitors, and dialysis equipment.
- Conduct regular patient rounds, assess clinical progress, and adjust treatment plans in consultation with senior physicians and specialists.
- Lead and participate in emergency resuscitation efforts, including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and critical care interventions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Monitor ICU performance metrics and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care medicine through continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in on -call rotations and provide coverage during emergencies or peak demand periods.
- Mentor junior medical staff and medical students during clinical training and supervision.

*Requirements:*
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical university with valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
- Postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, or equivalent (D.M. in Critical Care or DNB in Critical Care preferred).
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands -on experience in ICU settings, preferably in a tertiary care or multi -specialty hospital.
- Proven expertise in managing complex conditions such as sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), multi -organ failure, and traumatic injuries.
- In -depth knowledge of ICU protocols, invasive monitoring techniques, and advanced life support procedures.
- Proficiency in using ICU -specific equipment including ventilators, central line management, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Valid license to practice medicine and eligibility for registration with the State Medical Council.
- Experience in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation platforms.

- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Critical Care Nursing (CCN) or equivalent.
- Experience in trauma care, burn management, or neuro -intensive care is advantageous.
- Participation in clinical research or publication in peer -reviewed journals related to critical care.
