3. Medical Oncologist
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, delivering patient -centered care through chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and palliative care providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Qualifications:
â Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DM/DNB) from an accredited institution.
â Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Medical Oncology.
â Board certification in Medical Oncology.
â Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region].
â Strong clinical judgment and decision -making skills.
â Excellent communication and compassionate patient care abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
â Evaluate and diagnose patients with various forms of cancer.
â Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy, or targeted therapy.
â Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust protocols as needed.
â Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care providers.
â Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and prognosis.
â Manage side effects and complications related to cancer therapies.
â Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions.
â Maintain accurate, up -to -date documentation and use EHR systems effectively.
â Stay informed on the latest research, clinical trials, and oncology treatment advancements.
Preferred Skills:
â Experience managing both solid and hematologic malignancies.
â Exposure to hematology or bone marrow transplant is an added advantage.
â Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
â Clinical research or academic background is a plus.
â Bilingual abilities are a plus.
