Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for critically ill patients in the ICU and Emergency Department.
  • Lead and coordinate emergency response protocols during acute medical crises, including cardiac arrest, sepsis, and respiratory failure.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex medical conditions, including multi -organ failure and chronic disease exacerbations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, residents, and interns in clinical decision -making, procedural skills, and patient management.
  • Collaborate closely with specialists across departments (e.g., cardiology, nephrology, surgery) to ensure comprehensive, integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate, up -to -date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, morbidity and mortality reviews, and clinical audits to enhance patient safety and care delivery.
  • Stay current with the latest medical research, guidelines, and advancements in critical care and emergency medicine.
  • Contribute to hospital -wide training programs, simulation drills, and emergency preparedness planning.
Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Medicine (MD/DM in Internal Medicine or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven clinical experience in ICU and Emergency Medicine within a hospital setting.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and active license to practice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing critical care scenarios including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support (ACLS/ATLS).
  • Strong proficiency in emergency diagnostics, resuscitation techniques, and rapid clinical decision -making under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in high -stress, fast -paced environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex patient cases and lead interdisciplinary teams during critical incidents.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practices.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and on -call duties as required.
