### *Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in OPD, ICU, and emergency settings.
- Provide urgent and critical care during emergency medical situations, including managing life -threatening conditions such as sepsis, cardiac arrest, and acute respiratory failure.
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including adjusting ventilator settings, interpreting lab results, and coordinating with specialists.
- Lead and participate in daily rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary care planning for inpatients.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay current with medical guidelines, clinical protocols, and emerging treatments in internal medicine.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and hospital policy development.
- Mentor and guide junior medical staff, interns, and residents in clinical decision -making and patient management.
- Respond promptly to on -call emergencies and provide expert consultation as needed.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine (MD/DM or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of post -qualification clinical experience in hospital -based medicine.
- Proven experience in managing patients in OPD, ICU, and emergency care settings.
- Strong clinical acumen with expertise in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, and infectious diseases).
- Proficiency in advanced life support protocols (ACLS, PALS) and critical care procedures (intubation, central line placement, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain medical information clearly to patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, make rapid decisions, and manage multiple priorities in fast -paced environments.
- Valid medical license and registration with the State Medical Council.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital information management tools.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical medical practice.
