Job Description - Mental Health Therapist

Educational Qualifications â MA/Msc in Psychology
(Preferable Major: Clinical Psychology)

â Years of experience: 3 - 5+ Years

Counseling and related
services

â Attend to the mental health needs of patients in
the ICU

â Design strategies and techniques to relieve
stress,anxiety and worry of patients in the ICU

â Post care treatment to patients released from
the ICU

â Meeting and providing therapy to the
caregivers/attenders of the ICU patients

â Need based regular followup for
caregivers/attenders

â Speaking and assisting the ICU staff - - Doctors,
Nurses and Non -Medical Staff in case of burnout
or emotional distress

Training

â Establishing a system of efficient communication
with/within the ICU staff

â Designing and conducting monthly trainings for
the ICU Staff - - Doctors, Nurses and Non -Medical
Staff

â Assessing any specific need based intervention in
one:one setting with the ICU Staff

Administration

â Maintaining record of individual patient progress

â Maintaining communication record with
caregivers/attenders

â Documentation of strategies employed

â Project Management Skills

â Stakeholder Management Skills

â Language Requirement: Must be proficient in
Telugu

â Should be a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana
