Job Description - MEP Site engineer

MEP Site Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Experience: 3–5 years in residential/commercial building projects

Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Electrical, plumbing, firefighting and HVAC site execution

Reading MEP GFC drawings, shop drawings and specifications

Coordination of MEP services with civil and architectural works

Preparation of quantity take-offs and material requirements

Checking contractor work quality and approved materials

Conducting inspections, testing and commissioning

Preparing daily progress reports and maintaining checklists

Identifying service clashes and resolving site issues

AutoCAD and MS Excel knowledge

Knowledge of relevant NBC, IS and local authority requirements

Responsibilities :

- Supervise daily MEP installation activities

- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors and the PMC team

- Check measurements and certify contractor bills

- Monitor manpower, materials, quality, safety and progress

- Report deviations and obtain approval before making changes

- Maintain inspection requests, test reports and as-built drawings

- Attend project coordination meetings
