Job Description - Messaging Services Specialist Advisor - M365, Exchange onprem, MS teams
Experienced in managing transition activities and facilitating effective knowledge transfer for steady state support. Led end-to-end transition of new customer into steady-state Microsoft 365 operations, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and minimal business disruption. A migration expert should have a solid knowledge of Exchange Online architecture, MS-Teams architecture features, and administration. Expertise in M365 tenant migration tools and methodologies. Strong grasp of SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business architecture, features, and administration. Hands-on experience in migrating sites, libraries, lists, and files from one tenant to another or within Tenant, using native and third-party tools such as SharePoint Migration Tool and BitTitan MigrationWiz Design and develop migration strategies and plans that align with the client's business objectives and technical standards. Hands-on experience with integrated native, cloud-based tools for productivity, collaboration, security, and management such as Graph API, PowerShell scripting, and M365 Copilot. Skilled in preparing documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles and other documents pertaining to processes and methodologies. Staying updated with the latest trends and developments in the Microsoft 365 platform and adopting the best practices and recommendations. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and the Microsoft Graph API is preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. At least 10 years of experience in M365 migration projects, including multi-tenant migration scenarios. Strong knowledge and skills in M365 services and features, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Security and Compliance Center. Proficient in migration tools and technologies, such as M365 Tenant to Tenant Migration, Azure Active Directory Connect, and PowerShell. Certification in M365 or Azure is a plus. --- Works on abstract and complex problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Provides advanced technical support within area of expertise to clients on complex integration issues and is often in a lead role within major projects. Participates in troubleshooting and resolution of client problems using integrated data processing and communication solutions.
