A person will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of molding equipment and instrumentation systems used in the production of tableware. This role requires extensive experience in the pulp or packaging industry, with a strong technical background in molding machinery and instrument control.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on tableware molding machines and related instrumentation systems, ensuring smooth operations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot instrumentation issues with molding equipment to minimize downtime.
Calibrate and adjust machinery settings to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and adherence to product specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of molding equipment, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively.
Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration records, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with production and quality control teams to address equipment -related issues impacting product quality or production efficiency.
Participate in the installation, setup, and testing of new molding equipment or instrumentation.
Follow and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for equipment optimization, process enhancement, and waste reduction.
Keep updated on industry standards, new technology, and best practices related to molding equipment and instrumentation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Diploma or technical certification in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
7 -8 years of experience as a technician in the pulp or packaging industry, with expertise in molding machinery and instrumentation.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles related to tableware molding machines.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair molding machinery and associated instrumentation efficiently.
Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in the pulp or packaging industry.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using diagnostic and calibration tools, along with basic computer skills for maintenance record -keeping.
