MPS PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Description\n\nThe MPS Process Engineering is responsible for producing the Process Engineering deliverables required for a project or Key Indicators proposal and will carry the responsibilities of the MPS Process Engineer. At the same time, the MPS Process Engineering Team Lead is responsible for managing and developing a team of GET / Junior Process Engineers as part of the MPS Process Engineering Team.\n\n * Develop, configure and optimize process schemes throughout the facility, considering inputs from clients, products specifications, and cost of solution.\n * Size and define process equipment and utilities for O\u0026G facilities during proposal and project execution.\n * Perform process engineering calculations and address the process engineering design challenges. Keep abreast of industry codes, standards, regulations and guidelines. Meet or exceed project expectations in a timely manner within the budget limits. Co-ordination with intra / inter disciplinary team and provide the required deliverables as and when requested\n\n\n\nRoles and Responsibilities:\n\n * Monitor and assess the engineering performance, quality and provide feedback for improvement to his/her direct reports.\n * Support the MPS Process Engineering Management with the assessment of his/her team\u2019s skills/competencies and the creation of individual development plans for his/her direct reports.\n * Assist the MPS Process Engineering Manager with recruitment and undertake technical interviews as required.\n * Process Engineering activities part of the MPS Process Engineer Job Description such as:\n * Ensure all his/her own engineering and design work performed meets quality, cost and schedule requirements.\n * Process Design Engineering including performing process simulations, design calculations, Process Optimization, sizing \u0026 selection of equipment, depressurization calculations and flare network studies etc. for Tenders (as required) and for awarded Projects.\n * Preparation of various engineering deliverables (Drawings \u0026 Documents) such as Process Flow Diagrams, P\u0026IDs, Process Datasheets, Equipment Specifications, Heat and Mass balance, Cause \u0026 Effect Diagrams, control philosophy, shutdown philosophy, HAZOP actions close out, Operation \u0026 maintenance manuals etc.\n * Review of vendor and subcontractor documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations to check compliance with project requirements.\n * Ensure direct, effective and timely communications of project requirements, request for actions, responses to requests, routine reporting and sharing important information to Project Lead Engineer.\n * Be fully aware of and implement, where appropriate, the latest International and National Industry Standards, Codes of Practice, software and requirements of \u2018good engineering practice\u2019 for all work performed.\n * Review and understand client specifications during proposal phase and raise clarifications and deviations.\n * Provide process input data to others disciplines and support to Operations \u0026 Site team on engineering/technical matters, including pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and/or trouble shooting.\n * Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfil project and business needs.\n * Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the company and facility HSSE program, ensuring a safe/healthy work environment\n\n\n\nQualifications and Experience:\n\nEducation Qualification:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in chemical/petroleum engineering or similar\n\n\n\nExperience:\n\n * 10+ years O\u0026G Industry experience\n * Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies, Production Facility Engineering, Site Engineering support for Pre-commissioning, Commissioning activities\n * Deep understanding of process engineering concepts and strongly familiarized with international industry standards.\n\n\n\nExpertise:\n\n * Thorough process engineering knowledge with strong Engineering background\n * Oil \u0026 Gas Upstream Processes\n * Simulation Software (Hysys minimum)\n\n\n\nEducation Qualification: \n\n\u2022 Bachelor degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or Similar.\n\nExperience : \n\n\u2022 6-8+ years O\u0026G Industry experience\n\n\u2022 Prior work experience in EPCs, Engineering Consultancies, O\u0026G Operating companies.\n\nExpertise : \n\n\u2022 Thorough process engineering knowledge with strong Engineering background \u2022 Oil \u0026 Gas Upstream Processes \n
