This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a MS Dynamics CRM Functional Consultant based in India.
This role is a client-facing consulting opportunity focused on delivering end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions across complex business environments. You will act as a functional expert, bridging business requirements and technical implementation by leading workshops, gathering requirements, and designing scalable CRM solutions. The position involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to translate business processes into effective system configurations and workflows. You will also contribute to pre-sales activities, solution design, and proposal development while ensuring successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. In addition, you will play a key role in building strong client relationships and guiding stakeholders through CRM transformation journeys. The environment is dynamic, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering measurable business value through Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for leading functional consulting activities across Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementations, ensuring successful delivery of business-aligned solutions.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and conduct detailed business process analysis with clients
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps
- Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities, features, and best-fit solutions
- Lead configuration and functional implementation activities across CRM components and integrations
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations and support proposal and statement of work (SOW) creation with effort estimation
- Build strong client relationships by understanding business processes and delivering tailored CRM solutions
- Prepare documentation including workflows, functional specifications, training materials, and presentations
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to solution design, demos, and client presentations at all levels of management
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM functional consultant with strong business analysis, client engagement, and solution design capabilities.
- 8+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 functional consulting or similar roles
- Strong expertise in CRM business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (including configuration and functional implementation)
- Ability to conduct client workshops, deliver presentations, and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and CRM transformation projects
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, including PowerPoint and Visio workflows
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in remote, client-facing environments
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to design scalable and efficient CRM solutions
- Experience supporting pre-sales activities and proposal development is a strong advantage
