Role: Digital Workplace Software Distribution  

Level: Associate 

Experience: 5-8 years 

Description

In this role, the candidate is required to have extensive experience with deployment tools for Monthly patching, Standard deployments, reporting, software packaging, security policies etc. for Windows Operating Systems.  

 
Responsibilities

  • Expert in Desktop Management 
  • Expert in Windows 10/11 related issues 
  • Must have 6+ years of technical expertise in administrating various Software deployment tools such as SCCM, Intune etc.  
  • Must have experience with Software packaging tools 
  • Managing mass software distribution and troubleshooting failed deployments. 
  • Managing end to end patching for end user devices at the global level. 
  • Application and third-party patching. 
  • Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all Desktop Devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements. 
  • Participate in triage calls for major incidents and help drive resolutions and follow-up with long term remediation. 
  • Research and analyze new technologies. Establish and monitor short- and long-range plans for Infrastructure Solutions. 
  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for the problems and ensure to avoid its reoccurrence. 
  • Support, Manage, optimize and maintain the configuration and installation of the desktop, to include, but not limited to, patch updates. 
  • Frequent reporting of the deployments for stakeholders.  
  • Manage Desktop (software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.  
  • Experience in Automations through PowerShell or python.  
  • Strong ITIL process knowledge. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field preferred. 
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL principles and ITSM. 
  • Current understanding of industry trends and methodologies. 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities. 
  • Certification with any deployment tool – Preferrable.
