MS SQL Server DBA

• Install, configure,
  maintain, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  
• Monitor database
  performance and optimize queries, indexing, and stored procedures.
  
• Perform database backup,
  restore, and recovery activities.
  
• Configure and manage SQL
  Server Log Shipping.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot
  log shipping synchronization issues.
  
• Handle database
  patching, migrations, and deployment activities.
  
• Monitor SQL Server Agent
  jobs, replication, and database health.
  
• Troubleshoot blocking,
  deadlocks, long -running queries, and performance bottlenecks.
  
• Manage database
  security, user roles, and permissions.
  
• Support High
  Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments.
  
• Work with development
  and application teams for database -related activities.
  
• Maintain database
  documentation and operational procedures.
  

Requirements

• Strong hands -on
  experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2016/2019/2022.
  
• Good knowledge of:

  HA/DR concepts.
  
• Knowledge of Windows
  Server environment.
  

Good to Have Skills

• Basic knowledge or
  exposure to Snowflake.
  
• Experience in SQL Server
  to Snowflake migration/support.
  
• Exposure to Azure cloud
  environment.
  
• Scripting or automation
  knowledge using PowerShell.
