MTS- Mechanical Engineer

Role Responsibilities: \n\n * Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision \n * Lead or execute engineering projects, including the technical and capability development of key suppliers \n * Develop, design, or modify engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications of complex scope \n * Implement concepts for a range of complex product issues and solutions \n * Design, develop and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and associated processes; enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies; establish standards across operational processes; serve as a technical expert on specialized projects or programs \n * Generate product specifications \n * Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports; specify and review engineering documentation; specify or perform complex engineering analysis \n * Clearly communicate complex concepts and influence various perspectives\n * Communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers and suppliers regarding a wide range of complex mechanical issues for specific projects.\n * Collaborate with existing and developing suppliers on new technologies, capabilities to help support supply chain resilience and cost.\n\n\n\n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree\n * 10- 14 years of experience\n * Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD\u0026T, flow analysis and/or Design for Excellence principles \n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Knowledge of the Applied Materials product life cycle, including prototyping, packaging, material selection and manufacturing methods \n\n\n\nEducation: Bachelor\u0027s or Masters Degree\n\nExperience: 10 - 14 Years\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (India)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 10% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Enhanced)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
