Location: Kumbalgodi, Bangalore

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver age -appropriate music lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
Teach foundational music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and music theory.
Introduce students to diverse musical genres, including Indian classical, Western classical, folk, and contemporary music.
Lead and mentor school music ensembles, choirs, bands, or cultural groups.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Music (B.Mus) or equivalent qualification; postgraduate degree (M.Mus) preferred.
2–5 years of teaching experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in the K -12 segment.
Proficiency in at least one Indian classical music tradition (Carnatic or Hindustani) and familiarity with Western music theory.
Strong instrumental or vocal proficiency (e.g., piano, violin, vocals, or other instruments).
Demonstrated ability to engage students through interactive and student -centered teaching methods.
