Position: MYP & DP Economics & Business Management Teacher
Location: Bloomingdale International School, Vijayawada
Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,30,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)

Job Overview
Bloomingdale International School is looking for a dynamic and experienced educator to teach Economics and Business Management across both the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the IB framework, a passion for inquiry-based learning, and a commitment to student development.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in alignment with the MYP and DP Economics & Business Management curriculum.

Guide students in preparing for internal and external assessments, including the Personal Project, Internal Assessments, and Extended Essay.

Foster critical thinking and global awareness through real-world applications and collaborative learning.

Participate in interdisciplinary planning and curriculum development with other subject teachers.

Provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.

Engage with parents during conferences and contribute to the school’s wider learning community.

Stay current with IB developments and participate in relevant professional development sessions.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Business Studies, Commerce, or a related discipline.

B.Ed. or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in IB MYP and/or DP Economics or Business Management.

IB Certification in Economics/Business Management is an added advantage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to inspire students and create a stimulating learning environment.
