Skills: Routing, Switching, Load balancing and ASA Firewall

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands on experience with Cisco Nexus 3k/7k/9k, ASA firewall troubleshooting,
• Hands on experience on routing protocol, OSPF and BGP
• Hands on experience on Switching (Nexus vPC, Vlan, Ether channel, HSRP & STP)
• Hands on experience on ASA firewall (Access list, Natting, packet capture)
• Responsible to carry our BAU day to Day activities
• Assist in the development of automation tools (Python / Ansible)
• Provides appropriate level of support and troubleshooting for incidents across the environment and guide / support engineers
• Utilizes a variety of internal and external sources to investigate technology, build knowledge, and resolve incidents
• Review documentation, diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and tools and regularly Internal Use - Confidential contribute to internal knowledgebase and departmental documentation
• Identify opportunity areas on the Global Network and make suggestions for improvements. Interface with Global carriers to maintain current services levels and work towards developing and implementing new solutions
• Troubleshoot, isolate and resolve network problems (LAN, WAN, and MAN). Use appropriate tools to monitor and troubleshoot the issues
• Responsible for the development and refinement of operational best practices as it relates to Virtustream Enterprise Cloud platform management & support
