Network Infrastructure Engineer

• Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise networking solutions including Cisco Nexus & Catalyst switches, Meraki SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi.


• Implement VLANs, static routing, and core networking concepts within datacentre and enterprise environments.


• Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and maintain comprehensive documentation.


• Administer and support firewalls (Checkpoint preferred) and ensure network security principles are applied.


• Support storage infrastructure, including SAN/distributed storage, and multi-datacentre environments.


• Assist with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere and provide awareness of VMware Horizon VDI.


• Use monitoring tools (PRTG) to proactively detect and resolve network and infrastructure issues.


• Follow ITIL processes for change management and patch management.


• Work effectively with internal teams and third-party vendors for issue resolution.


• Produce clear documentation and communicate changes effectively.

• Strong expertise in enterprise and datacenter networking concepts


• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches


• Proficiency in Meraki SD-WAN and WiFi


• Strong knowledge of VLAN configuration and static routing


• Advanced network troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills


• Solid understanding of network security principles


• Experience in firewall administration (Checkpoint preferred)


• Working knowledge of SAN / distributed storage environments


• Exposure to multi-datacenter infrastructure


• Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere administration


• Familiarity with PRTG monitoring platform


• Understanding of patch management processes


• 4–6+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments
