### *Responsibilities*
- Perform complex neurosurgical procedures including craniotomy, cranioplasty, aneurysm clipping, brain tumor resection, epilepsy surgery, hydrocephalus surgery, and Chiari malformation decompression.
- Conduct advanced stereotactic surgeries for deep brain stimulation, biopsy, and radiosurgical planning.
- Manage spinal pathologies through spinal decompression, discectomy, spinal fusion, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and spinal tumor resection.
- Lead preoperative assessments, develop individualized surgical plans, and provide comprehensive postoperative care and follow -up.
- Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, oncologists, physiatrists, and critical care teams to ensure holistic patient management.
- Participate in surgical research, clinical trials, and quality improvement initiatives to advance neurosurgical standards.
- Mentor junior surgeons, residents, and medical students in clinical and operative settings.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all surgical procedures and patient interactions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, surgical techniques, and evidence -based practices in neurosurgery.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree followed by MD/MS in General Surgery and DNB/MS/Diplomate in Neurosurgery (or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery).
- Minimum of 5 years of post -residency clinical experience in a hospital or academic medical center.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical councils.
- Proven expertise in performing craniotomy, cranioplasty, aneurysm clipping, brain tumor resection, epilepsy surgery, hydrocephalus surgery, and Chiari malformation decompression.
- Demonstrated proficiency in stereotactic surgery, spinal decompression, discectomy, spinal fusion, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, and spinal tumor resection.
- Strong understanding of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and image -guided surgery.
- Excellent decision -making, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to manage high -pressure surgical environments.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to work in a rotating shift schedule, including emergency on -call duties.
