### *Responsibilities*
- Perform a wide range of neurosurgical procedures including craniotomy, cranioplasty, aneurysm clipping, brain tumor resection, epilepsy surgery, hydrocephalus surgery, and Chiari malformation decompression.
- Conduct minimally invasive and open surgical interventions for spinal pathologies such as spinal decompression, discectomy, spinal fusion, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and spinal tumor resection.
- Evaluate patients through comprehensive clinical assessments, imaging studies (MRI, CT, angiography), and diagnostic testing to determine optimal treatment plans.
- Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, oncologists, and rehabilitation specialists in multidisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient management.
- Provide preoperative counseling and postoperative follow -up, ensuring patient education and continuity of care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, surgical notes, and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with emerging surgical techniques, technologies, and research in neurosurgery through continuous professional development.
- Participate in on -call rotations and emergency neurosurgical interventions as required.
- Mentor junior medical staff, residents, and fellows in clinical and surgical best practices.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery (DNB, MS, or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
- Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in neurosurgery, preferably in a tertiary care hospital setting.
- Proven expertise in performing craniotomy, cranioplasty, aneurysm clipping, brain tumor resection, epilepsy surgery, hydrocephalus surgery, and Chiari malformation decompression.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spinal decompression, spinal fusion, discectomy, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, and spinal tumor resection.
- Experience with stereotactic surgery and intraoperative imaging is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and advanced surgical instrumentation.
- Excellent decision -making, hand -eye coordination, and technical precision under pressure.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in high -stress, time -sensitive environments.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital surgical documentation.
