### *Responsibilities*
- Perform complex neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies for brain tumor resection, trauma management, and intracranial hemorrhage evacuation.
- Conduct spinal cord decompression surgeries to relieve pressure caused by herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or traumatic injuries.
- Provide emergency neurosurgical interventions in critical care settings, including acute head trauma, stroke, and spinal cord injuries.
- Deliver comprehensive outpatient (OPD) consultations, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for neurological disorders.
- Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the ICU to manage post -operative neurosurgical patients.
- Maintain detailed medical records, surgical reports, and patient follow -up documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in neurosurgical techniques, technologies, and evidence -based practices through continuous professional development.
- Participate in clinical audits, research initiatives, and hospital quality improvement programs.
- Mentor junior surgical residents and medical staff in neurosurgical procedures and patient care protocols.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurosurgery (DNB, MS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of post -residency clinical experience in neurosurgery, preferably in a high -volume hospital setting.
- Proven expertise in craniotomy procedures, including tumor resection, aneurysm clipping, and trauma surgery.
- Demonstrated proficiency in spinal cord decompression techniques, including laminectomy, discectomy, and spinal stabilization.
- Experience in managing emergency neurosurgical cases in trauma, stroke, and critical care environments.
- Strong clinical decision -making skills under pressure, with the ability to prioritize and act swiftly in life -threatening situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in using advanced neurosurgical imaging (MRI, CT) and intraoperative navigation systems.
- Valid medical license and registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on -call duties as required.
