*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical history reviews, neurological examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological interventions, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to specialized therapies.
- Perform and interpret advanced neurodiagnostic procedures as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Stay current with emerging trends, research, and clinical guidelines in neurology through continuous professional development.
- Participate in hospital -wide quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical audits and documentation standards.
- Provide consultative support to other departments and assist in emergency neurological assessments when needed.
- Mentor and guide junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical practice and patient management.
*Requirements:*
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DNB, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and any required state medical council licenses.
- Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting neuroimaging (MRI, CT), EEG, and EMG reports.
- Excellent clinical decision -making, patient communication, and diagnostic reasoning skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high -pressure environments, including emergency neurological cases.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and hospital information management platforms.
