Produce well-researched, accurate, and engaging content on topics related to stock market/personal finance. Stay updated on market trends, economic events and personal finance developments and write articles that help our audience understand and navigate these developments.

Implement SEO best practices to improve the visibility of our content and drive organic traffic.

Churn out articles on an immediate basis based on market developments.

Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to our style guidelines.

Meet your team: You will work in the Growth and Marketing team wherein you will be working at the newly set-up dynamic news desk that powers Upstox news website with latest and important information 24*7. You will also closely work with the Product and the Tech team.

As a Business News Writer, your primary responsibility is to craft high-quality, thoroughly researched, and compelling content centred around stock market, personal finance and business news.

You need to stay informed about market trends, economic events, and personal finance developments to produce informative articles that assist our audience in understanding and navigating these shifts.

Apply SEO best practices to optimise content visibility and boost organic traffic.

Address current market developments promptly by creating timely articles.

Furthermore, ensure content meets our style guidelines through meticulous review and editing for clarity and grammar.

What do you need to bring?

Well versed in running liveblogs, working at a realtime breaking news desk and having experience in news planning, SEO elements and homepage management.

Experience in writing long form information pieces is a must.

Working under tight deadlines and a faster turnaround is mandatory.
