You will design, drive, and evolve the full non\u2011functional test strategy across performance, scalability, resilience, stability, and resource\u2011efficiency.\n\n## What will your job look like?\n\nTeam Introduction\n\nThere are 3 products running on premises in Mobile operators\u2019 data centers and in the cloud, with tens of installations all over the world:\n\n * Product 1: Handling mobile calls, forwarding or rejecting, charging them.\n * Product 2: Handling mobile data sessions, doing protocol conversion, session correlation, hiding network topology.\n * Product 3: Sending notifications to subscribers via SMS, email, push and other protocol, based on incoming requests, remote servers availability.\n\n\n\nAll these products are designed for network intensive communication, are based on event driven application server and handle tens of thousands operations per second.\n\nYour Responsibilities\n\n * Define and Lead NFT Strategy\n * Develop comprehensive strategies for performance, load, soak, and failover testing across all products.\n * Ensure coverage for telecom\u2011specific behaviors such as session surges, protocol latency, message bursts, and failover scenarios.\n\n\n\n * Design and Execute NFT Scenarios\n * Create realistic high\u2011load test scenarios for mobile calls, data sessions, and notification delivery workflows.\n * Simulate complex operator environments including network latencies, bandwidth constraints, and protocol interactions.\n\n\n\n * Identify and Analyze Performance Issues\n * Detect bottlenecks in production or staging environments.\n * Localize issues (high CPU load, memory leaks, locked threads, DB-related, network-related), reproduce them in controlled test setups, and collaborate with developers to resolve them.\n\n\n\n * Measure \u0026 Optimize System Behavior\n * Track KPIs such as throughput, latency, CPU/memory usage, GC performance, DB query performance, and network I/O efficiency.\n * Provide tuning recommendations across Java, databases, OS, hardware, and configuration layers.\n\n\n\n * Own and Improve NFT Tooling \u0026 Automation\n * Maintain and optimize the non\u2011functional regression suite.\n * Reduce execution time and improve stability of test runs.\n * Enhance observability through metrics, logs, dumps, and monitoring dashboards.\n\n\n\n * Cross\u2011Team Collaboration\n * Work closely with development teams to ensure new features meet performance expectations.\n * Support pre\u2011production certification with operators and cloud deployments.\n\n\n\n## All you need is...\n\nMust Have\n\n * 7\u20139 years of experience in performance engineering or non\u2011functional testing.\n\n * Candidates must have prior experience in the Telecom domain\n\n * Strong expertise in performance engineering, especially in high\u2011load, network\u2011intensive systems.\n * Handson experience with performance tuning and identifying bottlenecks in distributed or \u2011telecomgrade\u2011 systems.\n * Solid understanding of the OSI model and practical networking fundamentals.\n * Experience with relational databases, including:\n * Index strategies\n * SQL tuning\n * Query optimization under load\n * Good Linux expertise, including understanding how Linux uses:\n * CPU\n * Network\n * I/O and storage\n\n\n * Experience with diagnostic tools such as:\n * tcpdump (packet capture)\n * Thread dumps, heap dumps\n * Java class histograms\n * Optionally: familiarity with telecom and messaging protocols:\n * Diameter, SMTP, SMPP, CAP, MAP\n\n\n\n## Why you will love this job:\n\n * You will be part of the talented team, working on challenging projects,\n * You will have the opportunity to learn the industry most recent trends,\n * You will be challenged to develop non-standard solutions for continuously evolving environments and standards,\n * You will have the opportunity for personal growth,\n * You will have the opportunity to work with the industry most advanced technologies.\n\n\n\nCompetencies \n\nCore\n\n * Builds valuable customer relationships,\n * Team across boundaries,\n * Respectfully Interacts with Others\n\n\n\nThroughout the Organization,\n\n * Displays Confidence and Curiosity,\n * Demonstrates Excellence and Professionalism\n\n\n\nFunctional\n\n * Analytical Thinking \u0026 Problem Solving ,\n * Creativity \u0026 Innovation,\n * Focus on Quality,\n * Technological Excellence.\n\n\n\nAmdocs is an equal opportunity employer.
