Role Overview:
We are looking for an L3 NOC Engineer – Server with strong expertise in Linux/Windows server
administration and VMware environments. The role involves advanced troubleshooting,
virtualization management, performance optimization, upgrades, DR activities, automation, and
handling critical escalations while ensuring high availability and infrastructure stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and RCA for server, OS, and virtualization issues.
• Manage and optimize Linux, Windows, and VMware (vSphere/ESXi/vCenter)
environments.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, patching, and performance tuning.
• Handle clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) activities.
• Manage storage integration, backups, and system performance optimization.
• Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Guide L2 engineers and handle escalations.
Technical Expertise:
• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS).
• Deep understanding of server hardware, storage, RAID, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of backup solutions, DR strategies, and system integration.
• Scripting/automation skills (Shell / PowerShell) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex server, OS, and virtualization issues.
Certifications (Preferred):
• RHCSA / RHCE
• Microsoft Certified (Windows Server / Azure Administrator)
• VMware VCP / VCAP
