## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm India Private Limited\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Group, Engineering Group \u003e Systems Engineering\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nJob Summary: \n\n * 8-18 years of experience in Performance Verification and power modeling, estimation, analysis of complex Qualcomm propriety DSP IP\n\n * DSP design team is responsible for delivering high-performance DSP cores which are at the heart of Qualcomm\u0027s multi-tier SoC roadmap targeted for mobile space\n\n * Qualcomm is the largest fabless design company in the world, generating over $35 Billion in annual revenues from chipsets and royalties from intellectual property. Qualcomm provides hardware, software and related services to nearly every mobile device maker and operator in the global wireless marketplace\n\n\n\n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\n * In this highly visible and interactive role, your primary responsibility will be to drive performance verification/correlation of DSP IP by working with global DSP design team involving architecture, implementation, post silicon and back-end teams\n\n * Responsible for analyzing power and performance efficiency across cores/chipsets.\n\n * Responsible for building infrastructure for performance verification and verifying performance of processors\n\n * Work with front end power and backend teams to build power models, estimate power for AI/ML workloads.\n\n * Writing specific targeted tests to measure power and performance of the processor.\n\n * Involves having a deep understanding of processor micro-architecture and triaging performance issues in RTL and simulator\n\n\n\n\nSkillset/Experience: \n\n * 8-18 years\u2019 experience in processor/ASIC performance correlation, power estimation and analysis.\n\n\n\n * Experience in micro-architecture testing for modern high-performance, low power processors\n\n * Experience in writing tests and building infrastructure that tests power and performance of modern processors.\n\n * Experience in application-level power and performance analysis\n\n * Programming/Scripting Skills \u2014 C, C++, Perl, Python, Shell, Make file TCI\n\n\n\n * Solid background and understanding of Digital Design, RTL design, improving model performance and Processor Architecture\n\n * Strong troubleshooting, analytical and debug skills\n\n\n\n * Prior experience is performance correlation of Processor subsystems (ARM/DSP) is preferred\n\n * Should have excellent inter-personal, communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
