Job Description - Odoo Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

â Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.

â Conduct interviews and workshops to gather detailed and accurate information for Odoo
ERP customization.

â One of the key responsibilities is preparing a Requirement Document that clearly outlines
business needs, functional requirements, and process flows.

â Strong knowledge of Odoo functional modules (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting,
CRM, HR, etc.)

â Ability to map business processes to Odoo workflows

Create Business Requirement Document (BRD) outlining:

â Project Scope

â Business Objectives

â Stakeholders Involved

Define Functional Requirement Specification (FRS) including:

â Use Cases

â User Roles & Permissions

â Module -wise functional flows

â Reporting & Dashboards

Odoo Configuration:

â Work closely with senior consultants to configure and customize Odoo modules to meet
client needs.

â Assist in the setup and configuration of Odoo applications, including but not limited to
Sales, Inventory, CRM, and Accounting.

User Training:

â Provide training sessions to end -users on the effective use of Odoo modules.

â Create and maintain user documentation to facilitate the smooth adoption of Odoo within
client organizations.

Testing and Troubleshooting:

â Assist in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and
functionality of Odoo solutions.

â Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the
implementation phase.

Client Support:

â Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and
support.

â Address client inquiries and provide ongoing assistance to ensure the successful use of
Odoo ERP.
