Job Description - Office Assistant

Role Overview


The Office Assistant is to supports  our daily administrative operations. This role will be the first point of contact at the front desk and will be responsible for managing guest reception, serving refreshments, assisting with clerical tasks, and ensuring a clean and organized office environment and other admin related activities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Greet and assist visitors at the front desk in a professional manner.

  • Serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to guests and internal staff.

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the reception, meeting rooms, and common areas.

  • Assist with office errands, document delivery, local pickups, and banking-related paperwork; act as a runner for document submissions or collections

  • Manage courier dispatch and receipt of documents and packages.

  • Help with basic administrative tasks like photocopying, scanning, and filing.

  • Ensure office supplies and pantry items are well-stocked and replenished.

  • Occasionally drive to pick up or drop off guests, when required.

  • Any other admin related activities as and when required.


 



Skills & Attributes                                                                                                                



  • Strong analytical mind, eye for detail and problem-solving skills

  • Prioritise and perform multiple tasks in time-critical situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong stakeholder focus, ability to interface with end users and effectively support their requirements.

  • Good interpersonal skills .

  • Good multi-tasking skills with capability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.

  • Basic communication skills (Hindi/English).

  • Basic computer working knowledge

  • Familiarity with office procedures and basic clerical tasks.

  • Polite and well-mannered, with a service-oriented attitude.

  • Must know driving and possess a valid driving license of two and four wheelers.

  • Should be presentable and punctual.


 


Qualifications and Experience                                                                      



  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred) preferably in Pharmaceuticals or Animal Health industry

  • Min 12th Pass
