As an Okta developer, responsible
in demonstrating the capabilities of Okta products. Integrating the on-prem /
cloud applications with Okta to establish a SSO user experience. Implementation
of security policies to strengthen application access for diverged user base.
Creating & implementing High level & Low-level architectural designs
& documents. Engaging with customer on solution designing calls involving acquisitions
& mergers architectural designs SSO app integrations & access
management.

Roles &
Responsibilities:

1.      Technical experience in designing and implementing IAM solutions.

2.      Complete end to end understanding of all the Okta WIC & CIC
product portfolios.

3.      Develop usecases around access management & lifecycle
management using Okta WIC & CIC.

4.      Onboarding cloud / on-premises applications into Okta using SSO
protocols.

5.      Development of on-prem applications to support SSO technology
stack.

6.      Strong knowledge of SSO protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth and
WS-Fed. Proven working experience in provisioning using SCIM / JIT capabilities.

7.      Experience in attribute customization and building a unified user
profile from multiple trusted sources.

8.      Hands on experience in troubleshooting the issue related to SSO
onboarding, Authentication & Authorization.

9.      Oversee and manage Active Directory / LDAP integrations with Okta and
ensure HA for the integrations within hybrid environments.

10.   Working experience with Postman, APIs and building solutions for
Rest API.

11.   Understand the customer requirements and develop the usecases
around it to meet the business needs.

12.   Setting up the Okta infrastructure from scratch which includes
integrating directory sources, mapping the groups, setting up custom domain for
end user access & setting up network restrictions.

13.   Closely interacting with customer team for application development
in integrating with Okta via API & setting up custom authorization servers
on demand.

14.   Conduct assessments and provide strategic recommendations for IAM
and security improvements in Okta environment.

15.   Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity and access issues across
hybrid IT environments, including third party IdP such as AWS / MS Entra ID /
GCP / HR sources integration.

16.   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and configure
WIC / CIC and other related components.

17.   Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Okta,
Auth0, IAM, and cloud migrations.

Requirements

1.      Professional with a minimum of 3+ years in handling administrative
& operational support in Okta access management.

2.      Strong knowledge in Okta products such as AMFA, Contextual access
management, Privileged Access, Identity Governance.

3.      Knowledge of windows servers 2016/2019/2022 administration &
setup.

4.      Working experience in setting up workflows for provisioning & deprovisioning
users to downstream applications.

5.      Integrating lifecycle management and setting up automation for
dormant accounts.

6.      Good knowledge and working experience with REST APIs, Directories,
Databases, & PowerShell Scripting.

7.      Experience in integrating MDM solutions like CrowdStrike / Intune
/ Omnissa with Okta.

8.      Strong knowledge on troubleshooting access management issue for
SSO & behavior detections.

9.      Integration / Onboarding of On-prem / cloud applications with Okta
for Single Sign-On.

10.   Understanding the working flow of SAML, WS-Fed & OIDC
protocols.

11.   Working experience on AD attribute & customization of UPNs.

12.   Good knowledge of ticketing tools like Jira & ServiceNow.

13.   Excellent client / customer-facing skills in conducting POC &
architectural design meetings.

Good
to have skills:

1.      Understanding of networking & diagnosing system / vm related
issues.

2.      Understanding of cloud network architecture & administration
techniques.

3.      Exposure on AWS IAM center, GCP & integration with MS Entra
ID.

Education:

1.      Bachelors in engineering in
departments such as CSE/ECE/EEE are preferred.
