Job Description - OMNIMD - SEPG SPECIALIST

Job Title: SEPG Specialist

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Experience: 10 to 15 Years

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEPG Specialist to join our team in

Ahmedabad. This role is crucial in enhancing software engineering processes, ensuring

compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The

ideal candidate must have extensive experience in Agile and Scrum implementation, come

from an IT software background, and have a solid understanding of production metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Definition & Improvement:

Develop, implement, and maintain software engineering processes, methodologies, and best

practices tailored to organizational needs.

• Agile & Scrum Implementation:

Champion Agile and Scrum methodologies to ensure effective project execution and team

collaboration.

• Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with software quality standards and foster a culture of continuous

improvement through effective use of metrics and KPIs.

• Production Metrics Management:

Monitor, analyze, and optimize production metrics to achieve operational excellence and

deliver measurable results.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to integrate and reinforce

process improvements into daily operations.

• Training & Development:

Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance team capabilities in process

methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Tool Implementation:

Identify and implement process automation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) to improve

productivity and streamline operations.

• Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a bridge between stakeholders, effectively communicating process changes, project

updates, and improvement initiatives.

• Risk Management:

Identify potential risks associated with current processes and provide actionable solutions to

mitigate them proactively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

o Proven track record in Agile and Scrum implementation in software development.

o Strong background in process improvement frameworks such as CMMI, Six Sigma, or ISO

standards.

o Hands-on experience in managing and optimizing production metrics.

• Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration in a team-

oriented environment.

o Familiarity with process automation tools like Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in CMMI, Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent process improvement

methodologies.

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced IT software development environment.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in software engineering

processes
