Qualification

• M.Ch Surgical Oncology

OR

• DrNB Surgical Oncology

Registration

• Valid MMC / Maharashtra Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Candidates with independent surgical oncology experience will be given preference

---

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Surgical Oncology OPD consultations and manage IPD patients

• Evaluate and manage patients with various benign and malignant tumors

• Perform oncological surgeries as per expertise and hospital privileges

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care

• Manage surgical oncology emergencies and post-operative complications

• Coordinate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, and Critical Care teams for multidisciplinary cancer management

• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgery, prognosis, and follow-up

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, operative notes, and discharge summaries

• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards

• Strong clinical and surgical expertise in Surgical Oncology

• Excellent operative and clinical decision-making skills

• Good communication and patient counselling abilities

• Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary oncology team
