OneSource Tax Provision / Tax Tools Consultant

We are looking for a hands-on IT contractor consultant with experience in OneSource Tax Provision or similar tax tools. This role will support tax technology initiatives on Osprey, including requirements documentation, testing, JIRA execution, issue tracking, and coordination with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support OneSource Tax Provision or similar tax application projects, enhancements, and operational activities.


• Document requirements, process flows, test scenarios, user stories, and support procedures.


• Use JIRA to manage tasks, defects, testing progress, and follow-up actions.


• Partner with Tax, IT, and project teams to execute testing, validate results, and resolve issues.


• Provide hands-on support during build, test, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Required Skills:

• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, Thomson Reuters tax tools, or similar direct tax technology platforms.


• Strong JIRA, documentation, testing, and issue management experience.


• Ability to translate business needs into clear IT requirements and testable outcomes.


• Comfortable working independently with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.


• Experience supporting SOX, finance, tax, or compliance-related applications is preferred.
