Primary English Teacher (Grades 3–5)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for students in Grades 3–5, aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
  
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through interactive and learner -centered teaching strategies.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources in accordance with curriculum requirements.
  
• Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
  
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  
• Encourage a love for reading through storytelling, literature, and language enrichment activities.
  
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support students' academic and personal development.
  
• Participate in school events, parent -teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
  
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
  
• Prior experience teaching English to primary grades (Grades 3–5), preferably in a Cambridge or other international curriculum school.
  
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
  
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
