Opentext on Cloudnative Engineer

This role involves leading the installation and configuration of OpenText's cloud-native solutions and migrating legacy communication systems to the new platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenText's suite of products, cloud-native technologies, and migrating enterprise communication and content management systems. Lead the end-to-end installation and configuration of OpenText Cloud Native version. Design, plan, and execute the migration of legacy communication systems and applications to the new cloud-native platform. - Analyze existing legacy systems, assess their suitability for migration, and define the best approach. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth migration with minimal disruption. Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, including timelines, risk assessments, and contingency plans. Provide technical guidance and best practices for cloud adoption and system integrations. Ensure data integrity and security compliance throughout the migration process. Monitor and troubleshoot issues during installation, migration, and post-migration phases. Perform performance tuning, optimization, and regular updates of the OpenText platform. Conduct training sessions and prepare documentation for end-users and support teams. Configuration, development, integration testing, User acceptance testing, and production rollout support Facilitate Architecture, design, and cloud deployment and configuration. Develop Java CN API, microservice, and setup runtime orchestration, and focus on batch processing. 5+ years of experience in implementing and migrating enterprise-level communication/content management systems, preferably OpenText. Strong expertise in OpenText cloud-native solutions (e.g., Extended ECM, Documentum, etc.). Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud or TKGI Proficient in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible). Solid understanding of legacy communication protocols and migration strategies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent project management skills with experience leading large-scale migrations. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. - Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques. Project Details: Assist, facilitate, and, design CN, install and configure CN, work with Wells Fargo team to setup a Business Enablement communication workflow. Design and facilitate configuration of migration of components from lower environment to production. Provide Train the Trainer along the way and help implement industry best practices in using CN.
