Support all aspects of application development; requirement discussion, architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, debugging, implementation and supporting the applications for all environments as part of the Document Delivery Technology team. Participate in creating project, application, architecture, functional/technical design, and support documentation APIs/Microservices development for Print Delivery applications and integration with other tools functionalities Externalizing API and messaging integration (gateway) with consistent and user-friendly client experience Source control, branching, build and release management Application peer code reviews Assume responsibility and work to resolve production issues as level 1/2 support Participate in BCP / Disaster Recovery exercises Night and weekend support for code releases Maintain and create Autosys scheduling for application batch jobs Develop standard for best practice and maintain system documentation Candidate should be proficient enough to take end to end ownership of assigned tasks Good prioritization and Time management and able to multitask across multiple projects. Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing. LI-INPAS 8+ years' of software development experience in analysis, design, coding, testing and debugging skills. Experience in Open Text Exstream document composition Tool and Mainframe development, support and Maintenance projects. Good knowledge of various aspects of OpenText Dialogue engine (v9, v16 and v20/v21) run on Z/OS platform. Expertise in Page, documents, application, Table and Environment options. Its add on to have knowledge on Mobius and MARS document archival systems. Good technical expertise on Programming Languages like COBOL, JCL, CICS, Ezytrieve, Rexx, Stream weaver, IMS DB.,DB2, SQL, File Management- VSAM and on other tools like Endevor and CA7 Scheduler. Strong skills in all IBM utilities, File Aid, TSO/ISPF,SDSF and SORT cards. Experience in designing and developing application architectures that promote reusability across multiple sites. Demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to software problems. Well versed in Agile development strategies and ceremonies, Test Driven Development and integration of test framework. Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirement and application code. Develop and execute unit test and integration plan to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
