Operational Buyer

## What you’ll do:

This position will be based in Pune and will be in Global Shared service center of Supply Chain Management function. The principle role of the this position is to manage the order fulfillment role for Eaton Facilites located overseas. The role includes understanding of requirments and priorties from customers (internal and external), meet the delvieries collaborating with operations and warehouse committing the right timeliness to end customers
"-Responsible for coordination of order fulfillment for external customers and intercompany requirements routed as Sales Orders + export items
' Proactive order book mgmt. to gather customer requirements, prioritize and work with the network to ensure order fulfillment to maximize customer OTD and meet Eaton’s sales objectives.
'-Responsible for the internal processes to move materials from Eaton plants to end customers/distribution centers for on time fulfilment in collaboration with Customer Care teams
'-Responsible for interfacing with customers, logistics, manufacturing, buyers and/or sales or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service queries
'-Escalation point (case management) for internal stakeholders managing customer requests such as availability, leads time, change orders, end-to-end order status management, product changes or returns.
'-Responsible for evaluating , monitoring & improvement for Order Management KPIs( COTD, Past Due reduction.)
'-Timely follow-up with Operation buyers/ Production schedulers in managing Exceptions (Pullin/Pushouts)
'-Reviewing Credit hold or Delivery block and release hold in alignment with Finance.
'-Resolves problems by applying established policies, procedures and tactics
'-Keeps close connection to Production Network and DC team to ensure high on-time delivery performance, whilst customer stock level in DC is optimized
'-Participates regular operational calls with key customers to sustain and ensure close cooperation and improve order management process
'-Drive customer loyalty through increased productivity, improved value and through a high-performance culture"

## Qualifications:

BE Mechinical/Electrical & Instrumentation & MBA - SCM / Mtech
8+ Years of experince in SCM (Procurement, SIOP & Logistics , CPIM, CSCP will be added advantage



## Skills:

"SAP/ MFG Pro/ Oracle. will be added advantage
Kinaxis will be added advantage"
Strong Communication & Decision Management, Core Negotiation Skills
