Job Title: Executive Project Manager – Silicon Programs
Role Overview
The Executive Project Manager – Silicon Programs leads large-scale, mission-critical initiatives across semiconductor development and enterprise IT domains. This role partners closely with executive leadership, silicon engineering, IT, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-value programs such as chip development, silicon validation, EDA tool deployments, data center initiatives, and enterprise digital transformations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership
Drive silicon and IT programs aligned with corporate technology and product roadmaps
Translate executive objectives into executable program plans across hardware, software, and IT infrastructure teams
Serve as the primary interface between executive leadership, engineering, IT, and external partners
Silicon Program Management
Lead end-to-end silicon lifecycle programs including architecture, RTL, verification, physical design, tape-out, validation, and production readiness
Coordinate cross-functional teams across design, DFT, PD, firmware, validation, manufacturing, and supply chain
Manage dependencies across silicon milestones (tape-out, bring-up, qualification, yield ramp)
Ensure adherence to silicon schedules, quality metrics, and risk mitigation plans
Governance, Risk & Financial Management
Establish program governance, executive dashboards, and KPI reporting
Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, vendor contracts, and resource planning
Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and supply-chain risks
Ensure compliance with security, IP protection, and regulatory standards
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Lead executive steering committees and cross-functional reviews
Manage strategic relationships with foundries, OSATs, EDA vendors, cloud providers, and system integrators
Resolve escalations and align stakeholders across geographies and time zones
Team Leadership & Process Excellence
Mentor senior project and program managers
Drive adoption of Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies appropriate for silicon and IT programs
Promote best practices in program execution, change management, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
10+ years of experience managing large-scale silicon and/or IT programs
Proven experience in semiconductor development lifecycle and enterprise IT systems
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing complex, cross-functional, globally distributed teams
Preferred Qualifications
Master s degree or MBA
PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PRINCE2 certification
Hands-on experience with semiconductor design flows (RTL, verification, PD, DFT)
Experience with EDA tools, HPC/cloud infrastructure, and enterprise IT platforms
Background in product development, manufacturing, or silicon operations
