Job Description - Operations Manager

Designation: Operations Manager (School Operations)

Location: Banaglore - Rajaji Nagar, Mahalaxhmi, Jakkur, Kadugodi

Job Responsibilities:

Manager - Operations will be responsible for below key areas:

Heading the school Branch Operations and level looking for good communication with team handling experience.

Parent & Complaint Handling

  • Front facing on all non-academic issues.
  • Making sure the issues are tracked & resolved at the earliest.
  • Follow up with Front Office, Accounts and Campus In-charge for early resolutions of
  • complaints.

Sales & Marketing : Should be able focus and handle the marketing and admission counselor.

Revenue Management

  • Ensuring there are no Zero paid students for fee payment on a monthly basis.
  • Transport Fee collections.
  • Fee dues are paid on time for all terms.
  • Collection of any other miscellaneous income.

Staff Management

  • Manage team of Campus In-charge, Transport In-charge, Security In-charge, Branch
  • Accountant, Front Office Executives
  • Keeping a close track of staff strength.
  • Ensuring the attendance for staff is regularly and properly marked by EA.
  • Be the contact point of HR for attendance and salary processing.
  • Follow up with the Corporate Office for staff complaints/ issues.
  • Making sure the recruitment database is maintained properly by the front office.
  • Getting data for recruitment of surrounding schools and play schoolteachers.

Transport

  • Keeping a close track on bus operations.
  • Ensuring timely maintenance of buses.
  • Making sure the GPRS of all buses is functioning properly for parents to receive updates.
  • Breathalyzer test is done on a regular basis for drivers.
  • Campus Maintenance
  • Ensuring overall school maintenance.
  • Checking Maintenance Register daily.
  • Playgrounds, courts & all other amenities are well maintained.

Finance

  • Keeping close track of collections.
  • Managing petty cash for the branch and ensuring the documents are in order.
  • Managing vendor invoices & payments.

Miscellaneous

  • Keeping close track of branch assets.
  • Managing special activities and required staff.
  • Managing books and uniforms stock.

Professional Experience & Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skill, and think strategically to assess and improve processes to meet business needs.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop and implement solutions by collaborating with other teams both internal and external.
  • A dynamic change agent with an eye for details.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Customer-oriented attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships, self-motivated with a

willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • MBA is preferred.
