Operations Manager - Sales and Ops

Mission Statement:

Oversee and execute planning and fulfillment operations for the HUB by designing, implementing, and managing Sales &

Operations Planning (S&OP), short-term planning processes, and inventory management systems. Ensure optimal

capacity utilization and improved Net Working Capital (NWC) by driving initiatives to enhance on-time delivery, reduce

lead times, and optimize inventory levels, including Sales in Excess. Align factory operations with the business units

strategic objectives by implementing best practices and maintaining accurate demand and supplier forecasts. Take full

accountability for the Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) team within Operations, ensuring adherence to HUB and business unit

regulations while achieving operational excellence.

Key Tasks

? Lead the development and execution of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align supply with

customer demand.

? Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Planning & Fulfillment activities. Analyze

performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process enhancements.

? Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative environment and sharing best

practices to elevate team performance and achieve departmental goals.

? Lead and mentor the Product Line S7OP Leads to achieve department objectives and foster professional growth.

? Manage resource allocation and capacity planning to ensure optimal utilization of resources.

? Responsible for Inventory accuracy, implement robust inventory management practices across all inventory

categories

? Establish standard operating procedures for operative purchasing, material planning and forecasting to streamline

procurement processes.

? Drive continuous improvement initiatives using ERP systems to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.

? Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to align efforts with project management, engineering, and procurement

teams.

? Provide leadership supporting the implementation and changes to business process of planning systems and ERPs

for the HUB.

Requirements

? Minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and fulfillment, supply chain management, or operations management.

? Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software.

? Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

? Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

? Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey information effectively and engage with cross-functional teams

and external partners.

? Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
