Job Description

To handle the commercial post fixture vessel operations and maintain records for smooth, efficient and economical voyage execution.

c) Minimum Requirements
Relevant Experience
Worked in a similar capacity for at least 1 years preferred
Business/Industry Understanding
Vessel Commercial Operations,
Knowledge – Education & Functional
Should be a graduate or hold an equivalent degree, Sea Going Experience desirable.
Skills – Behavioral

Should be able to work under pressure of strict timelines
▪
The candidate should be able to work independently but also feel comfortable collaborating and communicating across all levels of the organization.
▪
Has a good understanding of the Charterparties & Post Fixture operations
▪
Discretion and unimpeachable values are paramount
▪
Database skills. Familiar to Shipping Software like IMOS is desirable.
▪
Proficient in handling Outlook and other MS Office applications.
▪
This position commands very close liaison with overseas office thus working shifts of late hours is a requirement.
▪
A 24/7 coverage and you should be willing to work extended hours should the situation demand.

Support and collaborate with internal and external teams for voyage execution
▪
Record keeping and Data Management in company systems (IMOS)
▪
Communication with Master, Charterers, Owners, Agents, Brokers and other parties
▪
Preparing hire/Freight invoices, checking Hire/Frt Statement of Accounts and processing hire/freight payments
▪
Bunker planning
▪
Monitor voyage progress (Delivery/Redelivery notices, SOF, Off Hires, Claims)
▪
Checking Bill of Lading and preparing LOI
▪
Follow all company procedures and SOP
