Job Description - Operations Team Member-WBG OPERATIONS (OPS)-Customer Service Desk
Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our WBG Operations team at the Customer Service Desk. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in banking operations, particularly in RTGS/NEFT transactions, fund transfers, and tax payments. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and proficiency in Excel to support daily operational tasks and client servicing.
Responsibilities Handle and process RTGS, NEFT, fund transfers, and tax payments efficiently at the branch, mid-office, or front office level. Provide prompt and accurate support to customers and internal teams regarding transaction status, payment issues, and operational queries. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines during transaction processing. Maintain and update transaction records and reports using Excel and internal banking systems. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or escalations related to customer transactions. Monitor transaction queues and ensure timely execution of all payment instructions. Assist in audits and internal reviews by providing necessary documentation and reports. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing service delivery.
