*Responsibilities:*
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic evaluations for patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of ocular diseases, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
- Conduct all outpatient department (OPD) consultations with precision and empathy, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
- Perform cataract surgeries using advanced phacoemulsification (phaco) techniques, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative follow -up.
- Utilize modern surgical equipment and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation protocols to achieve optimal visual outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including optometrists, nurses, and other specialists, to deliver integrated patient care.
- Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and clinical guidelines in ophthalmology through continuous professional development.
- Participate in hospital quality assurance programs, clinical audits, and research initiatives as required.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees in clinical and surgical procedures.

*Requirements:*
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology (MD/MS in Ophthalmology) from a recognized medical institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in ophthalmology, with documented surgical case logs including at least 200+ phacoemulsification procedures.
- Proficiency in performing cataract surgeries using phacoemulsification (phaco) techniques with demonstrated skill in handling complex cases.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic tools and imaging modalities such as OCT, Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy, and Tonometry.
- Excellent clinical judgment, patient communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced hospital environment.
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous learning.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records (EMR).
