Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist (Fresher)

Location: Attingal & Varkala (Near Thiruvananthapuram), Kerala

Qualification: MS / DNB Ophthalmology

Experience: Fresher / 0–1 year (Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply)

Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for fresher ophthalmologists to start their career in a supportive clinical environment. Candidates who are not yet confident with surgeries will be trained and guided, with hands-on exposure to develop surgical skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct OPD consultations for ophthalmology patients

• Diagnose and manage common eye conditions (refractive errors, cataract, infections, etc.)

• Assist in ophthalmic surgeries and gradually perform procedures under supervision

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Learn and perform procedures like cataract surgery with proper training

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Coordinate with OT staff and optometrists
