Description - Supervising and providing governance frame work for operations staff supporting loan trade life cycle & utilities services for Global loan Services: Duties may include: Supervising and providing governance framework for payment processing and related activities ; Supervising and providing governance frame work to support operational personnel work effectively; Supervising and providing governance frame work for loan documents ,notating all related activities on the account, and submitting accurate forms for final processing to service center; Supervising and providing governance to make outbound contact both in writing and verbally with clients concerning paperwork.
Requires ability to lead ,define and prioritize project activities with follow-ups on project progress; strong written and verbal communication skills, strong working knowledge and proficiency in the appropriate computer programs such as MS Word and database input is essential, knowledge of financial services field. Must be able to learn quickly and to engage in a number of detailed tasks at once. Must have strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently.

Responsibilities: Supervising and providing governance frame work

  • For supporting front to back loan lifecycle transactions
  • For internal metrics reporting, and reconciliations
  • To ensure that loan transactions are processed accurately in core systems.
  • For Review of legal documentation where applicable (Credit Agreements, Amendments and Waivers)
  • To Work with the Business Unit (BU), Financial Controllers (FCG), Risk, Compliance ,transformation and other internal teams on issue
  • For Checking and Approval of Loan Events, tying out between System & Agent Notices to ensure these are processed timely and accurately
  • For Reconciliation of trade settlement via Internal MS system
  • To Upkeep and amending of various policies and procedures
  • For Dealing with queries received on MS positions from multiple partners
  • For Working with Vendor Team to ensure critical items are correctly prioritised.

Skills / Experience:

  • 12+ years of financial services operations experience required
  • 12+ years of syndicated/corporate loan experience strongly preferred
  • 12+ years of people, process, and/or project management experience required
  • Core system experience strongly preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with syndicated loan products and credit documentation preferred
  • Must be proficient in reviewing loan documents and process flows
  • Ability to effectively manage seasonal , quarter end and month end volume spikes
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload for junior staff
  • The successful candidate will work well under pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines as well as having strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive change and improve daily processes in the work place delivering both capacity and control.
  • Critical thinker, proactively considering operational and reputational risk of the department and firm.
  • Able to assess problems quickly and provide effective, innovative solutions with confidence.
  • Strong background in Loans is preferred.
  • Assumes ownership of problems and drives towards their resolution.
  • Displays high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately..
  • Develops and maintains excellence in client relations by providing timely and relevant information through effective communication.
  • Delivers team tasks on time to required quality.
