Oracle Apps DBA

Role: Oracle Apps DBA

Work Time: 6PM to 2 AM IST

We are looking for a strong Oracle Applications DBA to
support, maintain, and optimize Oracle E -Business Suite (EBS) environments.

The resource will work closely with internal and client
teams to ensure high -quality support, timely ticket resolution, proactive
monitoring, and adherence to SLAs.

The candidate must be reliable, highly accountable, and able
to communicate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and
  support Oracle E -Business Suite (R12 / 12.2.x) environments.
  
• Perform cloning,
  patching, upgrades, and environment refreshes.
  
• Troubleshoot issues
  related to application, database, concurrent managers, workflow, and
  performance.
  
• Monitor and resolve
  production issues within SLA timelines.
  
• Manage and update
  support tickets regularly with clear communication.
  
• Perform backup &
  recovery, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
  
• Ensure availability,
  reliability, and scalability of Oracle Apps environments.
  
• Apply patches (CPU, PSU,
  AD, TXK, etc.) and coordinate scheduled maintenance.
  
• Support RAC / Data Guard
  environments if applicable.
  
• Work closely with
  functional, development, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
  
• Participate in daily
  stand -ups, client meetings, and provide timely updates.
  
• Document procedures,
  root cause analyses (RCA), and environment changes.
  
• Support basic
  development -related tasks when needed (forms/reports deployment, file
  movements, etc.).
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong hands -on
  experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
  
• Expertise in EBS R12.1 /
  R12.2 administration.
  
• Solid experience in
  cloning, patching, and upgrades of EBS environments.
  
• Good understanding of
  Oracle Database 12c/19c architecture.
  
• Experience with
  Unix/Linux platforms and shell scripting.
  
• Good knowledge of
  WebLogic Server, application tier components, and concurrent processing.
  
• Strong analytical,
  troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
  
• Excellent communication
  skills and professional reliability.
  
• Ability to work under
  pressure and meet timelines.
  

Nice -to -Have Skills

• Exposure to OEM (Oracle
  Enterprise Manager).
  
• Knowledge of Cloud
  (OCI/AWS) migration or hosting of EBS.
  
• Experience supporting
  third -party integrations.
  
• Understanding of 12.2
  Online Patching (ADOP).
