Oracle Database Administrator

• Manage and support Oracle database environments including 11g, 12c, and multitenant architectures. 


• Perform advanced performance tuning at query, database, and memory levels to ensure optimal system performance. 


• Implement and manage high availability solutions such as RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Exadata. 


• Configure and maintain Oracle GoldenGate, including high availability setups. 


• Execute backup and recovery strategies ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime. 


• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including escalations, with strong troubleshooting methodologies. 


• Collaborate with Oracle Development and Support teams to resolve critical customer issues. 


• Identify and recommend proactive improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and security. 

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA / Consultant / Support Engineer. 
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c) and core DBA functions. 
• Deep knowledge of performance tuning (SQL/query tuning, DB tuning, memory tuning). 
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and Backup & Recovery. 
• Working knowledge of Oracle Multitenant architecture. 
• Experience implementing high availability solutions. 
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. 
• Ability to manage escalated technical situations and drive resolution plans. 
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment.
