Oracle DBA Administartor

We are looking for a skilled Database Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle Database administration, migration, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Oracle database environments, performing upgrades and migrations, ensuring high availability, and supporting deployment activities across on -premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c or higher).
  

• Perform database migrations (On -Prem to On -Prem, On -Prem to Cloud, Cross -version upgrades).
  

• Lead database deployment activities across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
  

• Plan and execute database patching, upgrades, and performance tuning activities.
  

• Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
  

• Configure and maintain High Availability solutions (RAC, Data Guard, ASM).
  

• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  

• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance standards.
  

• Work closely with application teams for release management and deployment support.
  

• Prepare technical documentation for migration, deployment, and DR procedures.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  

• 3 -5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA/Database Engineer.
  

• Strong hands -on experience in Oracle database migration and deployment projects.
  

• Experience in database upgrades and version migrations.
  

• Proficiency in RMAN, Data Pump, OEM, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
  

• Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting techniques.
  

• Experience with cloud platforms (OCI/AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
  

• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
  

• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  

Preferred Certifications

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
  

• Oracle Cloud Certification (preferred)
