Oracle EBS Finance techno functional

Position Summary

The Techno-Functional Consultant will bridge business requirements and technical implementation by configuring Oracle EBS Financial modules, supporting data conversion, preparing test scenarios, validating accounting outcomes and enabling business users during testing and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement analysis and business process assessment.
  
• Configure Oracle EBS Fixed Assets and General Ledger modules.
  
• Define asset books, tax books, ledger structures, asset categories, depreciation methods and accounting rules.
  
• Prepare Functional Design Documents and configuration workbooks.
  
• Support data extraction, cleansing, mapping and migration activities.
  
• Coordinate with technical consultants for custom development and conversion utilities.
  
• Prepare SIT and UAT test cases and support defect resolution.
  
• Perform fixed asset, tax book and GL reconciliation during conversion and cutover.
  
• Provide user training, knowledge transition and hypercare support.
  
• Support month-end close and reporting validation.
  

Required Skills

• 6–10 years of Oracle EBS Financials experience; preferred 8–12 years for senior delivery roles.
  
• Strong expertise in Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, asset accounting and period-close processes.
  
• Hands-on experience in Oracle Financials implementation, enhancement or support projects.
  
• Understanding of data conversion methodology and reconciliation controls.
  
• Ability to write SQL queries for analysis, validation and troubleshooting.
  
• Oracle EBS technical consultant skills including PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle APIs, concurrent programs, XML/BI Publisher, SQL Loader and interface/conversion support.
  
• Strong communication skills to work with Finance, Tax, IT and business SMEs.
  

Preferred Qualifications                                                 

• Experience in localization and statutory reporting projects.
  
• Knowledge of tax reporting requirements and fixed asset accounting controls.
  
• Experience with Oracle Web ADI and financial reporting validation.
