Oracle Financials Practice Lead Managed Support

Fusion Practices is looking for an experienced, hands -on Oracle Financials expert to lead our growing Managed Support practice. This is a senior, client -facing role supporting a number of Oracle Cloud ERP clients across UK Local Government and the private sector.

This is a working leadership role, not a desk job. You'll stay close to the detail acting as the senior advisor and solution designer on complex problems  while also setting the standards, quality, and direction for how we deliver managed support. The role goes well beyond day -to -day incidents: you'll spot opportunities to enhance and improve our clients' Oracle solutions, lead the team that delivers the service, and help shape and grow the practice itself.

What you'll be doing

• Act as the senior advisor and solution designer across our managed support clients, hands -on with the complex functional and design work rather than only overseeing it.
  
• Lead the design of enhancements, improvements, and new solutions, helping clients get more value from Oracle Cloud over time not just keeping the lights on.
  
• Drive continuous improvement across the service, turning recurring issues into lasting fixes and process improvements.
  
• Own complex escalations and the toughest issues, seeing them through to a proper resolution.
  
• Set and maintain the quality standards for the practice, making sure work is delivered to a consistently high level across all accounts.
  
• Lead and manage the managed support team, providing direction, functional governance, and day -to -day guidance.
  
• Help shape and grow the managed support practice defining how we deliver, improve, and scale the service.
  
• Provide expert support across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement, and Projects.
  
• Run workshops and lead change requests, enhancements, testing, and releases.
  
• Work closely with Finance Directors, business leads, and other key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
  
• Review Oracle's quarterly releases and advise clients on what they mean for their business and how to adopt new features.
  
• Mentor and develop consultants across the team, raising the overall capability of the practice.
  

What you'll need

• 10+ years' Oracle Financials experience, including Oracle Cloud ERP / Fusion Financials.
  
• A track record of delivering full end -to -end Oracle Cloud ERP Financials implementations, from gathering requirements through to go -live and ongoing support.
  
• Strong, hands -on knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
  
• Proven experience leading Managed Support (AMS) or Oracle ERP support engagements, with a focus on solution enhancement and service improvement, not just incident resolution.
  
• A good grasp of finance operations, accounting principles, and business processes.
  
• Experience managing several client accounts and the relationships that go with them.
  
• Experience leading and developing a support or delivery team.
  
• Excellent communication, consulting, and leadership skills.
