ORACLE Licensing Specialist

Client & Project: We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project SAM_India Ops. The client is Cross Client, a company that provides diverse services across multiple industries, focusing on delivering innovative and reliable solutions to meet business needs.

Experience Required
5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle licensing, including the creation of comprehensive License Compliance reports
Deep expertise in one or more Oracle technologies, such as Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Applications (e.g., EBS, Hyperion), or Oracle Java
Strong knowledge of various Oracle Enterprise Agreements (OMA, ELA, ULA, OD, etc.)
Thorough understanding of Oracle license terms, metrics, and support policies
Proficiency in analyzing data from multiple sources, including Oracle Collection Tool outputs and third-party tool outputs like Flexera, BigFix, and ServiceNow
Experienced in licensing Oracle solutions both on-premises (VMware, Oracle VM, Red Hat KVM etc) and in the cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure etc) and a strong focus on identifying cost optimization opportunities
Proven ability to work efficiently within global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
Excellent communication and presenting skills for various stakeholders

Nice to Have
Experience with configuration and management of Software Asset Management (SAM) tools such as Flexera or ServiceNow
Familiarity with audit processes and related support activities
Exposure to contract negotiation and vendor engagement
